TRAINING RIDES

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Here is the schedule for training rides with the George’s & RF Foundations Pro Team. We hope you can make it to at least one of these rides.

Dates are 5/24, 5/31, 6/14, 6/29, and 7/12.

The rides are structured as follows

10:15 AM… @ George’s Cycles Downtown

  • A Group + B Group Training

  • A Group will ride as far up as where the road becomes wet or snow-covered each week (or group dynamics)

  • B Group will progressively train each Saturday building up to the full climb

    • Week 1- 4 Miles (Aprx Dry Creek Trailhead)

    • week 2 - 8 Miles (Aprx Stark Mansion)

    • week 3 - 12 Miles (Aprx Lower Stackrock)

    • week 4 - 16 miles Simplot Lodge

  • B GROUP IS RIDING TOGETHER TO THE BASE OF THE CLIMB, THEN RIDING YOUR OWN PACE TO TURN AROUND. THE RIDE LEADER WILL FLOAT AMONG RIDERS. ONCE WE GO PAST 8 MILES WE WILL REGROUP AT WATER DROPS WHEN IT GETS WARMER/HOT.
